The United Nations agreed the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as global targets to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone by 2030.

We have linked the RSP Competences to the first 16 SDGs; Goal 17 is all about partnerships in order to achieve the other 16 goals. Goal 17 focuses on global processes such as reducing the debt of poorer nations, but partnerships for sustainability are key at every level of society. You will find that several of the activities described on this website suggest working in partnership with other organisations.
